Meet Megan – a 15-year-old girl from Connecticut. What most people don’t know about Megan is that she has been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition that has filled hher life with constant doctor’s appointments, medical treatments, and even lengthy hospital stays. But Megan has kept a smile on her face through it all, always staying positive and showing incredible courage.
 

When Megan found out that she could ask for anything in the entire world, she knew just what to wish for – a shopping spree! Megan’s wish was an opportunity to play “catch-up” on all the things a teenage girl enjoys…especially shopping! On Megan’s big day, a limo arrived at her house to take her on her shopping spree in style. She was treated like royalty the entire way to the mall…but that was just the beginning!
 
For an entire day, Megan wandered in and out of her favorite stores like Urban Outfitters, Hollister, PacSun, and most importantly, the Apple Store where she even got herself a brand new laptop computer. And to top off the day, Megan and her family enjoyed a fantastic lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. With all that shopping, they needed to refuel!
 

“Everyone was so wonderful,” reflects Megan’s mom. “From the volunteers to the limo driver, everything was perfect. Megan’s smile just kept getting bigger and bigger as the day went on.”

Megan’s wish will continue to give her hope, strength and joy for years as she not only enjoys all the wonderful things she was able to bring home, but as she looks back on the wonderful memories of her special day.
