­­­­­­­­­A wish – the one thing in the entire world you want more than anything – can change the life of an individual forever…especially one sixteen-year-old girl named Rebecca, who wished to have the Sweet 16 Birthday Party of her dreams.

Being diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition can take its toll on a person, especially a teenage kid. Sixteen-year-old Rebecca had to endure the struggles that come with such a condition, spending almost a month in the hospital instead of being out celebrating with friends. But Rebecca kept her chin up through it all, battling with strength and courage, and with a positive attitude.
 

When Rebecca was asked what her one true wish would be, she knew that she wanted to have an elegant and fun night that she would always remember.  Many of her friends had been planning other Sweet 16 birthday parties, and she realized that a night with all of her closest friends and family would be the perfect way to lift her spirits.
 

To prepare for this special night, Rebecca received a manicure and picked out a beautiful dress to celebrate the special occasion. A limousine transported Rebecca to Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, where her unforgettable wish awaited her.  All of her family and friends, over 150 people, couldn’t wait to see how beautiful the birthday girl looked!
 

The party was absolutely flawless.  Rebecca was surrounded by the people that she loved most, and had the time of her life! She felt like a princess in her elegant gown, and was able to dance all night to some of her favorite music.  Rebecca and her family wanted to make sure they would never forget this incredible night, and they have countless photos to look back on and remember one of the most unforgettable nights of Rebecca’s life!
