Wishes cannot come true without people who care. Some volunteer, some donate, some allow wish kids to take part in their busy lives. But every way they contribute allows us to share the power of a wish®. Behind every child’s wish, there exists a special individual, corporation, student organization or foundation that makes it possible.

In fact, every unforgettable wish we grant is funded by private contributions. The average value of a wish is $8,500 and quickly approaching $10,000. However, any gift, large or small, will impact a family and create hope, strength and joy during a time when a family in our community needs it most. A number of fundraising programs are available to donors. Many local individuals and corporations recognize the importance of the communities in which they work and live and encourage employee involvement with various area programs. This offers many opportunities for employees to make a positive and personal impact right in their own backyard.

“I Wish To Be A Race Car Driver!”

In celebration of our 25th Anniversary, The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Lime Rock Park Race Track, home to the best amateur and world-class professional racing on the East Coast.

Lime Rock Park and Make-A-Wish are working side-by-side on the track and off to make wishes come true for children. Together, we will grant 10+ wishes by raising $100,000 through fundraising efforts facilitated by Lime Rock Park during our 25th anniversary celebration.
