For a child with a life-threatening medical condition, a wish experience can give back what the illness takes away. It can help children forget about being sick…remember how to be kids…laugh out loud…and inspire them to keep making plans for the future.

Volunteer

For individuals who have ever felt a desire to help kids triumph over life-threatening medical conditions, volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® is an opportunity to make a difference.

Hundreds of dedicated volunteers throughout Connecticut make magic happen for children by volunteering in areas such as wish granting, fundraising and special events, community speaking, administrative support and internships.

Donate

A wish is granted every 40 minutes. Donate in honor of a loved one, become a monthly giver, and more. Help grant wishes today! We welcome all levels of donation, whether it’s a one-time gift, a monthly donation or the establishment of a matching gifts program.

You can donate by mail, online, at work, as part of a matching-gifts program, and even by purchasing select Make-A-Wish Foundation-branded products.

Sponsorship & Adopt-A-Wish®

Every wish is a unique and memorable experience for the wish child, the wish family and all those who participate in the wish. And many donors say they began their support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and its endearing mission after hearing a child’s memorable wish story.

You can help create more heartwarming stories for children with life-threatening medical conditions, either through sponsorship of one our many major fundraising events throughout the year, or through our Adopt-A-Wish program. The Adopt-A-Wish giving option allows donors to support the Foundation by making a donation in honor of a specific wish experience.

When you donate your car to Wheels for Wishes, proceeds from the sale of your vehicle donation benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Connecticut. It’s fast, easy, and fulfilling!
