Peter always loved hearing his grandfather talk to him about where his family came from, so it was easy for Peter to decide that he wanted to visit Ireland.
He knew he wanted to see the Blarney Stone and explore the beautiful country after all his grandfather had told him and he wanted to share the experience with his parents, brothers and sister.
To start the trip, Peter and his family were picked up by a limousine to head to the airport. After a long flight, Peter and his family arrived in Ireland and were not off for a three hour car ride to their lodging location in Waterville! On the second day of the trip, Peter and his family went to see one of the most popular destinations in Ireland, the Ring of Kerry. After that, they went to the Ross Castle, which was made in the 1400’s! The next day Peter was off for another adventure to Croagh Patrick, where he would hike the famous Saint Patrick’s Mountain.
On the fourth day of his excursion, Peter and his family headed to Dublin, the capital of Ireland. He toured the Guinness Storehouse and ate dinner there with his family. The next day he went to the Dublin Zoo and continued to explore all that Dublin has to offer. On his last few days of the trip, Peter got to see the mighty Cliffs of Moher and the greatest treasure in Ireland: the Blarney Castle. At the Blarney Castle, Peter kissed the Blarney stone, which is a tradition where if you kiss it, you receive the gift of eloquence so he will never be at a loss for words ever again.
Peter’s dream of visiting the country he loves had finally come true. He was lucky enough to share the experience with his family, so they could all see their heritage together.
