There are two things Kyle loves - skateboarding, and making films about skateboarding. He and his friends would spend countless hours mastering stunts and filming various tricks in skate parks. Kyle would work tirelessly to edit amazing film clips of he and his friends on their boards, attempting and accomplishing all sorts of feats in the park.
When Kyle was diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition, his world was turned upside down. Instead of spending his afternoons in the park, he’d spend them at the doctor’s office or the hospital. Instead of focusing on his next video to post to the internet, he’d be focused on his next round of treatments.
But when Kyle was asked what his one true wish would be, a sudden glimmer of hope and happiness filled his eyes. Kyle and his friends had always dreamed of the films they could create with the right equipment, and how they would be one step closer to their dream of producing a skateboarding documentary. As Kyle’s treatments came to an end, Kyle wished for his very own, state-of-the-art camera equipment and editing software that would allow his dreams to become a reality.
When the big day arrived, Kyle invited his friends and family to share in the special moment. He opened his new equipment once piece at a time, while playing hours of skateboarding videos on TV in the background. Kyle couldn’t believe it - he had bared the hardships of his condition, and had felt that he missed out on equipment would set him up for an exciting future of skating and films he had only dreamed of. Kyle’s wish come true would give him hope, strength and joy as he looks toward his future.
